The Micro Therm microprocessor based thermometers measure temperature from a thermocouple input (Type K, N, R ot T; depending on the model) with a 0.1°C resolution over the entire range. Each thermometer incorporates an easy to read, multi-function 4½-digit LCD display with open circuit, low battery and hold indication. The Hold button will freeze the screen showing the measured value at the time. The instrument will turn off automatically after 30 minutes, to save battery life. For use with a thermcouple (not supplied), connected via the thermometer's mini socket. The YCT YC-717UD and YC-747UD are hand-held digital thermometers which have thermcouple inputs, via miniature connectors, and can measure seven thermocouple types; E, J, K, N, S, R, T (all channels will measure the set type). The YC-717UD has a single input, where as the YC-747UD has four input channels, all of which are shown on the screen at once, with your chosen channel showing largest in the center of the LCD display. The instruments can record measurements from all channels, logging up to 10,000 measurements per channel with full time and date recorded, which can be downloaded to a computer and viewed using the supplied Windows software. The data can be saved directly into Microsoft Excel (.xls) file format for further analysis. The software can also be used to log data from the instrument in real time. The units can be configured with high and low limit alarm and gives out an audiable alarm if any of the channels go outside this limit. The Data Logger comes with PC based Windows software on CD and an optically isolated USB download lead, and can download its data at up to 50 records per second.4-Digit Large Format LCD Display, with a button activated back lightTemperature Scale in Celsius (°C), Fahrenheit (°F) or Kelvin (°K)Maximum, Minimum or Average of main readingDifference between channels; 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 (YC-747UD)Count-Time ClockAuto power off (20 minutes, can be disabled) & Low Battery indicationProtective rubber cover with an intergrated fold out standSample Rate: Every secondOperating Environment: 0-50°C, 0-80%RHDimension: 164x76x32mm (LxWxH)Weight: 415g (including batteries)Batteries: 4x 1.5V AAA size batteries (supplied)Battery Life: Approx. 550 hoursInputRangeAccuracy0.1°C Resolution RangeType J-100 - 1000°C±0.1% of reading +0.7°C-100 - 150°CType K-100 - 1300°C±0.1% of reading +0.7°C-100 - 200°CType N-100 - 1300°C±0.1% of reading +1.5°C-100 - 150°CType R & S0 - 1700°C±0.1% of reading +2°CType T-100 - 400°C±0.1% of reading +0.7°C-100 - 150°CNote: The YC-747UD's channels are not isolated from each other, so, to maintain reading accuracy, it should only be used with thermocouples whos junctions are isolated from each other, i.e. not in contact with each other, either directly of via a electrically conductive body.
This low cost thermoter unit has a 60mm stainless steel sensor probe on a 1m lead and displays the measured temperature on its LCD display in °C or °F .
