Payment Methods & Security

Online card payments for the TMS Webshop are handled on our behalf by a secure payment provider. All common credit cards are accepted, including Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Mastercard Debit, UK Maestro (previously Switch), International Maestro, Solo (Mastercard Debit), Electron (Visa Debit), Visa Delta. For additional security the checkout stage of the TMS Webshop, where contact and address details (but not card details) are entered, is protected by an encrypted (SSL / https) connection.

Invoices

Invoices will be sent by email in PDF file format to the email address used when placing your order.
Webshop Account holders can specify a different email address or request invoice by post.

Delivery

Our aim is to get your products to you as soon as possible, we work together with our couriers DPD, DHL and Palletways to ensure efficient delivery. Orders which are placed before 11:00am, with all items in stock, are usually delivered the following working day (delivery to the Highlands and Islands will be longer, please contact us for an accurate delivery time).

Customers in Ireland must supply a valid EC VAT number to be VAT exempt.

Please note that large items such as ovens and furnaces will be charged and shipped separately in accordance to costs below. We reserve the right to increase the delivery cost in cases where we suffer excessive charges from our courier. In these situations we will contact you before taking payment to ensure that you are happy to proceed.

For Ovens & Furnaces the webshop calculates the delivery seperately and per unit. If interested in multiple units or delivery to destinations with prices not listed, please contact us for a quote.

Collection
Alternatively you can choose 'Collection from TMS by Customer', we will inform you by email when the order is ready for collection. Orders can be collected between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). This option is intended for collection in person by the buyer or company's van. If you're interested in arranging a 3rd party (e.g. carrier) to peform the collection, please contact us to discuss this before placing an order through the webshop.

Availability

Estimated Availability is shown for most products and gives an estimate of how long it will take to reach you based on the known stock levels, which are updated daily. eg For items that are in stock you can expect to receive the product within '1 - 2 days' if you are in the UK (longer for orders to the Highlands and Islands, please contact us for an accurate delivery time). These are measured in normal working business days.

Calibration

Some products are available with UKAS calibration, giving you extra confidence in the product's measurement accuracy. The product comes with a UKAS calibration certificate, giving details of the actual test value and measured value of the product at each point of calibration.

These products are only available at the stated price with the specific stated calibration points. We can only offer our exceptional prices on calibrated items because of our automated procedures and the large quantities of items we calibrate, therefore these items are not available with different or additional calibration points, unless specifically stated otherwise.

If you require a product calibrated differently to those available on the TMS Webshop please contact us for a quotation to your requirements.

Please note for some items the actual calibration points may vary slightly from the nominal calibration point. Eg a nominal 250°C calibration may actually be carried out at 260°C.
