Mineral Insulated (MI) Thermocouples suitable for use in a wide range of industrial processes, including temperatures between -250°C and 1350°C. They have a plain pot seal and an insulated lead (tails).
This range of probes includes:
Thermocouple Types: K, J, N & T
Sheath Diameters: 0.25mm, 0.5mm, 0.75mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 3mm & 6mm
Sheath Lengths: 150mm, 250mm, 300mm, 500mm, 1000mm & 2000mm

Mineral Insulated (MI) thermocouple probes are suitable for a wide range of industrial processes.
Each probe is supplied complete with plain pot seal and 100mm PTFE insulated tails (bare lead ends without a plug).
Type N are inconel 600 sheathed and type J, K & T are 25/20 stainless steel sheathed.

Temperature Ranges:
Type K: -180°C to +1350°C (0 - 1100°C for continous use)
Type N: 0°C to +1300°C (0 - 1100°C for continous use)
Type J: -180°C to +750°C (20 - 700°C for continous use)
Type T: -250°C to +400°C (-185 - 300°C for continous use)
Note: These temperatures apply to the MI sheath, the pot seal temperature should not exceed 200°C.

Fine Diamater Mineral Insulated (MI) thermocouple probes are suitable for a wide range of industrial processes. Each probe has a plain stainless steel pot seal, rated to 200°C, a spring strain relief and a 1 metre PFA-insulated tails (with bare lead ends and without a plug). Type N are inconel 600 sheathed and type J, K & T are 25/20 stainless steel sheathed. The probes are available with diameters from 0.25mm to 1mm.

  • Made from Class 1 Tolerance Mineral Insulated Cable
  • Insulated Junction
  • Probes Individually Pressure & Insulation Tested

Maximum Probe Tip Temperatures:
Type K & N; 0.25mm diameter: 260°C; 0.5mm, 0.75mm & 1mm diameter: 370°C
Type J; 0.25mm diameter: 205°C
Type J & T; 0.5mm, 0.75mm & 1mm diameter: 260°C

Note: Type T is not available in 0.25mm diameter.

Mineral Insulated (MI) thermocouple probes are suitable for a wide range of industrial processes.
The probes are 3mm diameter mineral insulated sheaths, 300mm long, terminated in a plain pot seal with a 1m long flexible PTFE lead with stripped tails (bare lead ends without a plug). There is a choice of Type K, Type N or Type K Duplex (two thermocouples in one probe).


Temperature Ranges:
Type K: -180°C to +1350°C (0 - 1100°C for continous use)
Type N: 0°C to +1300°C (0 - 1100°C for continous use)

Note: These temperatures apply to the MI sheath, the pot seal temperature should not exceed 200°C.
