The TC-08 thermocouple data logger offers industry-leading performance and a cost-effective solution to your temperature measuring needs.Wide temperature rangeThe TC-08 thermocouple data logger is designed to measure a wide range of temperatures using any thermocouple that has a miniature size thermocouple connector. Additionally, the TC-08 can also measure other sensors using a 70 mV range.Featuring built-in cold junction compensation (CJC), the TC-08 has an effective temperature range of -270 to +1820 °C (The actual temperature range depends on the thermocouple being used.)All the benefits of USBThe TC-08 connects to the USB port of a Windows based PC and enables the host PC to automatically detect the TC-08 - avoiding the need for any complex setup procedures. The USB connection also allows the TC-08 to be powered directly by the USB bus - eliminating the need for an external power supply and making the TC-08 ideal for measuring temperatures both in the lab and in the field.Fast and accurate temperature data acquisitionWith the TC-08 thermocouple data logger your measurements can be made both fast and accurately. The low conversion time of the TC-08 means up to 10 temperature measurements can be taken every second. Whilst the high (20 bit) resolution ensures that the TC-08 can detect minute changes in temperature. All you need in one easy-to-use unitTemperature data acquisition with the TC-08 is very easy - simply plug the TC-08 into a USB port on your computer, connect your thermocouples, and you are ready to measure temperatures. The easy-to-use PicoLog data acquisition software is supplied with the TC-08 - allowing you to start measuring and recording temperatures with the minimum amount of effort. The intuitive user interface of PicoLog makes it easy for you to set how frequently you want to take a measurement, and the number of measurements you want to take.8 channel thermocouple data loggerMeasures from -270 to +1820 °CAutomatic cold junction compensationHigh resolution and accuracyFast sampling rateMultiple units can be run on a single PCUSB interfaceWe offer a wide range of thermocouples, as well as Wall Mounted Thermocouple Air Temperature Sensors, for use with the TC-08 logger.UKAS calibration is optionally available at extra cost, either of the unit on its own or with thermocouples as a system. The Single-Channel Terminal Board is an accessory for the Pico TC-08 Thermocouple Data Logger to measure additional signals for instruments and sensor outside its normal ±70mV range. It connects via thermocouple mini plug and has screw terminals for wires to be attached without soldering. The PicoLog software is used to scale the input and change the displayed units as needed. For use with the following signal inputs:5V500mV50mV4 - 20mA0 - 20mA
The PT-104 platinum resistance data logger gives you the ultimate in resolution and accuracy. You can use it to measure temperature, voltage and resistance. You can connect to it directly using either USB or via ethernet over a computer network, or you can connect to it remotely using a modem. When the accuracy of your temperature measurements is paramount the PT-104 is what you need.Measures temperature, resistance and voltageHigh resolution and accuracyNo power supply requiredUSB and Ethernet (RJ45) interfaceFor use with PT100 and PT1000 sensorsAccuracy and ResolutionAlthough accurate temperature sensors are widely available, it has been difficult to take advantage of them due to errors caused by the measuring device. The PT104 however, is inherently accurate due to its novel design. Rather than relying on voltage references (which tend to be temperature sensitive) it uses 'reference' resistors which are extremely stable (low temperature co-efficient and drift). The exact value of each resistor is stored in an EEPROM to provide the ultimate in accuracy (yearly re-calibration is recommended). To achieve the 0.001 °C resolution a highly-advanced ADC is used that can resolve to better than 1 part in 16 million.TemperatureThe PT104 measures temperature using platinum resistance thermometers (PRTs). Both common industry standards (PT100 and PT1000) are supported. The unit is compatible with 2, 3 and 4 wire sensors (4 wire PT100 sensors are recommended for more accurate measurements, especially on longer lead lengths). We offer a wide range of PT-100 temperature sensors which are available for use with the PT-104.ResistanceWhen measuring resistance, the unit uses a four-wire circuit to give the greatest possible accuracy. Two resistance ranges are available (0 to 375 ohms and 0 to 10,000 ohms). The unit is calibrated for 0 to 375 ohms so this range should be used for accurate measurements.VoltageFor voltage measurements, each input connector can be treated as a differential input with ground, or two single-ended inputs. Both inputs must be zero volts or above, though it does not matter which input has the higher voltage. Two voltage ranges are available (0 to 115 mV and 0 to 2500 mV). For the most accurate measurements use the 0 to 2500 mV range.SoftwareThe PT-104 is supplied with PicoLog data logging software which can collect up to 1 million samples. PicoLog will automatically detect which sensor is connected and will display readings in the correct units. Also supplied is a software development kit. The SDK contains a range of software drivers and example code that you can use to write your own software or to use your PT-104 data logger with third party software. Features include:Multiple views - view data as a graph, spreadsheet or textParameter scaling - convert raw data into standard engineering unitsMath functions - use mathematical equations to calculate additional parametersAlarm limits - program an alert if a parameter goes out of a specified rangeIP networking - transfer measurements via a LAN or over the InternetFull details on PicoLogSoftware development kit includes drivers and example code for various programming languages including C, Excel and LabVIEW.UKAS calibration is optionally available at extra cost, either of the unit on its own or with RTDs as a system. TMS Webshop Special Offer:Optional USB Repeater cable free with every Pico HumidiProbe!**By adding both items to your order. The HumidiProbe is a self-contained humidity and temperature measuring data logger. Simply position the HumidiProbe near the source you want to measure, plug the cable into the USB port on your PC, and you're ready to measure humidity and temperature.Monitoring temperature and humidity is very important: temperature and humidity play an important part in health, comfort and productivity. Extreme temperatures can also cause electronic equipment to age faster and mechanical equipment to breakdown. If humidity is too high it can lead to corrosion of equipment, mould growth - even printers jamming; if the humidity is too low it can lead to problems with static electricity and dehydration problems with everything from wine making to wood storage.Versatile and expandableThe HumidiProbe's compact, all-in-one design allows it to be used in various locations and in a wide range of applications. Up to 4 HumidiProbes can be connected to one PC allowing you to accurately monitor the temperature and humidity in multiple locations at once, and at a low cost.Easy to use softwareThe easy to use PicoLog data acquisition software is supplied with the HumidiProbe - this powerful, yet flexible, data acquisition software allows you to collect, manipulate, analyse, and display and export data. Software alarms can be configured for both temperature and humidity so as to provide a warning when measurements go out of a specified range. Updates to PicoLog can be downloaded for free from the Pico website. An accurate and cost effective solutionIf you need to measure, and record, temperature and humidity the HumidiProbe provides you with an answer that is compact, simple to use, accurate and cost effective.UKAS calibration is optionally available at extra cost.
