The BC2001 is a small, portable, block calibrator designed for checking the accuracy of sensors and thermometers. Its convenient hand held size means true portability, even at 350°C its stainless steel case is cool enough to hold in your hand. Because the BC2001's aluminium block is fan assisted it heats, cools and stabilises in minutes - much quicker than many larger calibrators. It has high stability of better than ±0.3°C and has hole-to-hole uniformity of better than ±1°C.

Dry Well Block Calibrator Reference
In its size, accuracy, simplicity and convenience this hand held block calibrator is in a league of its own. It can be used in the tightest of corners (autoclave drains etc.) without sacrificing accuracy. With its
UKAS Full Thermal Survey the STERI-KIT gives the most flexible and accurate traceability for those needing true precision in a portable block calibrator.
The SK2001 is easy to set up. Plug it in, switch it on and set the temperature you want to check using the fast up/down keys on the front panel. Display resolution is 0.1 degree for the precision you need.
Put your thermometer or probe in the hole that best suits its diameter and compare it's reading to that on the SK2001. To check another temperature, just change the setting and wait a few minutes. Because the aluminium block is small and fan cooled, the SK2001 won't take as long to heat and cool as with larger units, saving valuable time and energy. Hole-to-hole uniformity is better than +/- 0.2°C for comparison calibrations.

Each SK2001 includes a full UKAS calibration certificate with actual data for the measuring system, and a Thermal Survey of the Block. The SK2001 can be converted from °C to °F, but you should specify your preference when you order.
